Introduction
Kaira union is located in the upazila headquarter Kaira. It is one of the seven unions of Koara upazila. It has four unions and two union centers on the south. The union of the north namely, (1) Maharajpur (2) Bagali (3) Amadee and (4) Maheshwaripur Union And in the south there are two union lines, namely (1) North Gadchiki Union and (2) South Bankishi Union. Being located in the headquarters of the upazila, many people from different countries and countries are unharmed without any other six people.


Nomenclature
Koara is located in the southernmost and the last border of the district of Khulna, Bangladesh. After this upazila only the Sundarbans and the rivers and the sea. Kaira Union named as Kyra Upazila Sadar Union The name of the upazila is named after this union.

According to another opinion, kayra is a lowland land. There was plenty of fish available here. And the 'Kai' fish in this fish were very much. The origin of the name of the kayra from this 'Kai' fish. In other words, many words of 'Koi' are 'Ra'. Suarera Kai ra = Kaira Afterwards, the name was changed and the name of the kyara.

The birth of kaira union
Koara Union was born in 1960. Prior to that union there was no separate union. The current or today's coal union was divided into two parts before the year 1960. Kaira union kayra mouja (1st from kaira to 6 kaira) was included in the pedestrian union. And Madinabad Mouza (Madinabad, Gobra, Ghatakhali, Harinkhola) of the Koya Union was in the Maharajpur Union.
